Dear Shanyn,

This summer I drank a lot. Every night of the week my friends and I got together for a good time and would throw back a few alcoholic beverages. That was tons of fun but now I am having a hard time getting back into the swing of school. I know that school is beginning and I am going to start doing work but all I want to do is hang out and drink. I am afraid that I am going to do poorly in my classes and lose my scholarship. Do you have any advice on how I can get serious about school again?

Sincerely, Gined and Toniced

Dear Gined and Toniced,

Believe it or not I have some advice for you. Here we go, ready, set, advice! Mix the two most important things to you (and myself) gin and textbooks. For every correct answer you get on a homework problem take a shot. So it goes: correct answer, shot, correct answer, shot… ect. Do you see where I'm going with this? This method of studying will keep you happy and pretty darn focused throughout the night. Now I know what you are thinking, isn't this bad for me? And well, quite frankly, of course it is. Your liver will most likely shut down almost completely in a few months but, you don't seem like the type of person who would care and I sure as heck don't. Well I have to go Jeopardy is on soon and I need to blend up my margarita.

Love you,

Shanyn
