Lace is the invention of a goddess and the occupation of a queen. There is no way you can’t feel gorgeous, classy and even royal while walking around wearing lace!
Everyone needs a little lace in their life and with today’s variety of fashion, it really isn’t a problem. Lace can be worn to a fancy dinner party or even just for a fun girl’s night out! The trick is to look classy and not too trashy.
Lace is one fashion trend that should never and probably won’t ever go out of style. After all, it has been around since the 14th century; it’s timeless. Therefore, it makes sense to have something made out of lace somewhere in your closet.
You can pick from a pair of black lacey tights or leggings. A pair of tights can complete an outfit. Ripping them a little could also add some edge if you think the lace is too pretty. Don’t let lace stop here, as Gabi from Fashion Allure says, “[That’s] just a conservative version” of this trend.
There are a ton of cute lace tops, skirts and dresses to choose from in a variety of colors as well. Designers are also coming out with lace shoes.
Trying to go for a more pretty, sweet and girly look? Try wearing light colored shades of lace such as pink or white tops. The feminine material in a light color creates a soft and cute look, while still looking totally ferosh!
Black lace is always a classic and it looks great! American Apparel has really great lace clothing as well as different colors. From t-shirts to tanks to dresses and even all lace unitards, they have all your lacey needs. They have flowy and pretty tops, or tight fitted bad-girl-gone-trendy looks. Just be sure to have something underneath this sheer material. Bandeaus can be a good substitute for bras if you’re feeling daring enough.
Also, of course the whole shirt doesn’t need to be completely made out of lace. A nice top with a pinch of lace can look superb and perfect!
If shoes are more your thing, there are many gorgeous lace pumps to choose from. Christian Louboutin, the shoe god, has to-die-for shoes with lace patterns. Unfortunately, they are a bit pricey. However, if you’re one of the lucky ones where money is not an issue, please, do go splurge away! They’ll be worth it.

Accessories are important to any outfit and there are plenty of laced up pins and headbands to choose from. They’re great for spicing up a casual outfit and adds something sexy and fun and much less expensive.
If lace clothing doesn’t appeal to you at all, even after reading this article, you can always opt for lace panties and bras. Can’t go wrong with that!
