Feast your ears on this new artist and Fedonia student, Paul Jackino and his new CD, Dynamic Perceptions. It's an electronic delight that will keep all your senses wanting more as you listen to his talent come to life with each song.

Still hot off the plate, Dynamic Perceptions was recently released on August 15, 2010. Jackino's work in this CD is quite unique and reflects a different approach to the relation of music and sound altogether. His career in music took flight from home, beginning with his unreleased 2005 album. Both Jackino and his compositions have evolved together over time mixing unusual sounds with different instruments, such as the piano, to expand his preexistent creative talent.

All of Jackino's songs are original compositions, giving his album a very personal vibe. A listener may agree that the first song, "Own Little World" sets the stage for the rest of the CD, perhaps being an invitation to welcome us into his own little world of talent.

Many of his songs are instrumental alone. However, Jackino makes most of his songs their own by having the ability for each to tell a different story without the use of words. In fact, the songs in which his voice is present, almost takes away from the whole experience.

His voice isn't the factor that brings his songs to life, it's his ability to arrange and compose many different sounds and be left with a masterpiece. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a true musician.

Not only does Jackino have the talent to compose, he also has a gift of imagery. Close your eyes and listen to each song. His instrumentals and beats create images that are calming and endearing, much like the titles he gives each one.

Sara, a University at Buffalo student spoke highly of Jackino's music.

"I fell in love with all his songs … it wasn't like a normal CD that only has one or two good songs that you constantly repeat," Sara said.

"Stargazing," a personal favorite, starts off with the faint sound of crickets and develops into a beautiful combination of various sounds that magically fit together to create a memorable experience. A listener could agree that while listening to the song, they could imagine themselves laying in the grass, stargazing. The crickets are a clever touch to make the creativity come to life. The beat is lively and cheerful; a realistic experience for the everyday dreamer.

Most of Jackino's songs incorporate some sounds of nature and related sounds to the title, such as "Tropical Crush." Birds and sporadic reggae tones blend together to create a very tropical feel while listening to the song.

While some songs display a direct relation of sounds and meanings, others, such as, "Winter 2005" make listeners wonder what was on Jackino's mind when he wrote it. This small factor plays a significant role in the mystery of some of his songs. I'd like to believe it was a narration of his emotions as he discovered his own talent as a musician.

There are seventeen tracks on Dynamic Perceptions, all unique with their own sound. Eager listeners can support Jackino's music by going to iTunes, Rhapsody or Amazon and enjoy this new artist and his raw talent. Each track has been exclusively selected for this young album. Songs such as "Looking For Love" and "At The Beach" have been featured as part of the top ten on ATB's Fan-Demos Top 100. This is truly a CD that has a song for everybody, no matter which genre you call your favorite. It's fresh and different; exploding with creativity and something new for everyone.
