Kate Brett: Brett ran an NCAA provisional time of 1:03.90 en route to winning the 400-meter hurdles at the Univ. of Rochester Alumni Invitational.
Eddie Novara: Eddie ran a personal best in the 5,000, breaking 15:00 in a time of 14:59.40 to win the event at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational this past weekend.

Coming off a 15-6 route of New Paltz this weekend, the Blue Devils welcome Cortland, the defending SUNYAC champions. The Red Dragons, 8-1 (4-0) are ranked first in the conference while the Blue Devils currently sit in fifth place.

New Paltz, NY – After dropping their first SUNYAC game of the season to Oneonta on Friday afternoon, the Blue Devils rebounded on Saturday and defeated New Paltz 16-6 to improve their conference record to 1-1. Amy Simon led the Blue Devils in scoring with four goals and an assist. Katie Monaghan, Amanda Zumbo, Laura Culhane, Maddison Frink and Karli Brinthaupt added goals in the winning effort. Goalkeeper Casey Chiesa earned the win with five saves for the Blue Devils.
Track and Field
Rochester, NY – Blue Devil runners compiled five first-place finishes at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational; the men's squad finished third overall and the women sixth. Kate Brett won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:03.90, a personal best for her and an NCAA provisional qualifying time. Other first place finishes were achieved by Grace Moore in the 100-meter high hurdles with a time of 15.91 and Sarah Furman in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:40.37. On the men's side, Nick Guarino won the 800-meters in 1:54.44 while Eddie Novara won the men's 5,000 meters with a time of 14:59.40.
Baseball
Cortland, NY – The Blue Devils could not find their offensive edge over the weekend in their double-headers against Cortland and Oswego, going 1-3 overall and only scoring three runs over the four games. The Blue Devils were swept by Cortland on Sunday afternoon by scores of 16-1 in the first game and 8-0 in the second. On Saturday, the Blue Devils won the first game against Oswego 2-1 but dropped the second decision 2-0. In the first game, the Blue Devils began a ninth inning rally when Taylor Gahagen walked. He would advance to second on a groundout and eventually score on Jon Messina's two-out single. Andy Dlugosz earned the win in relief, pitching 3 2/3 innings and striking out six Lakers to improve his record to 5-0 for the season.
